It will be great to see the -14°C at 850 hPa so early ! I want that too ! But , unfortunattely it's more than a week away and the operational GFS you are talking about is one of the coldest from the ensemble . We still have to wait to see if that exceptionally strong trough will be really heading towards us . Before get excited , we must take a look at the other models . For example , ECMW's solution didn't follow yet the GFS one . However , I have a feeling that some places in Europe will be hit by some kind of winter blast at the end of october / beginning of november . I hope Romania might be one of them ..... Otherwise , I'll be very envious of that !

eu sper sa nu influenteze inregistrarea temperaturilor amplasarea senzorului la circa 1,5 metri deasupra tevii de evacuare de la centrala termica a vecinului de jos.
desi am mutat senzorul si pe partea opusa a balconului si reda aceeasi temperatura...
